Building my own PC

I am planning to build my own PC. Ever since I got interested in computers I have had this dream of being able to build a computer if my own- its like a mechanical bug inside of me wanting to express its creativity.

Well I am finally getting down to it. I have been able to find a couple of very helpful online manuals. Yesterday I got a case and managed to find someone who would sell me a second hand monitor, keyboard and mouse. I intend to use as many good condition secondhand outer parts as possible so that I can spend my limited resources on the important inside components.

Any help on the project would be welcome.

While browsing the net today searching for stuff for my computer I happened to come across this site which I think is hilarious. Make sure you read it to the end!

My two top tips:
1) Don't use cheap RAM
2) Make sure your PSU has sufficient output for all the components you install
